Lock Haven University is the recipient of a U.S. Department of Education grant award titled "At-Risk children, youth & schools: Connections for Higher Education Faculty."  The grant program is exploring the role of higher education in the delivery of curriculum and programs that are specific to alternative education, at-risk populations, and at-risk schools.  In April 2010 the preliminary results of our findings will be posted on this site. If you are a university faculty member currently teaching an alternative education or other at-risk student course and would like to be kept up-to-date regarding the project, simply e-mail nhosley@lhup.edu.  Provide your e-mail address put the acronym ARCHEF in the subject box of you e-mail and we will provide your with two updates during the 2009 to 2010 academic year.
